SBS Initiative: Black in Industry Networking Event

Black in Industry networking event brought postgraduate researchers (PGRs), black Surrey alumni, and regional professional networks together. It aimed to counter networking exclusion and enhance access to non-academic career pathways.

This initiative was a networking event hosted by Surrey Black Scholars, connecting Black PGRs with industry professionals and Black-led professional networks. Advertised as an open regional event, the target group included Black PGRs at Surrey and across the wider Southeast region.
