SBS Initiative: SBS Newsletter

Surrey Black Scholars Newsletter delivers a bi-monthly digital newsletter to support community-building, visibility, and knowledge exchange within the SBS programme.

Newsletter issues included curated research features, early career research (ECR) advice and opportunity listings, among other articles. Editorial responsibility transitioned from a Research Fellow to a student Editor-in-Chief, with students co-producing each issue. The target group is Black and racially minoritised postgraduate researchers (PGRs), with the intent to expand appeal to the wider institution. See most recent issue here: SBS Newsletter
